Elbi combines entrepreneurial expertise with a deep commitment to community-building and creative empowerment in her role at Peritus PR. A proud graduate of Howard University and a veteran, Elbi’s career spans over 15 years in marketing, communications and leadership, including nine years as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force, where she honed her skills in strategy and collaboration. Before joining Peritus, Elbi worked as a public relations freelancer and founded a coffeehouse/incubator, fostering equity and opportunity for creative entrepreneurs. She has served as a diversity marketing advisor, speaker and board member for nonprofits, advocating for DEI policies through initiatives like the Georgia Women’s Policy Institute. Elbi’s storytelling expertise allows her to amplify client messages and build impactful campaigns. Elbi enjoys beekeeping, exploring vintage thrift stores, discovering vibrant coffee shops, traveling with her son Langston and embracing Birmingham's lively community.
